Russia Loses: Be It War, Step Down, or Anything in Between – Part II

Putin Portrait

What started as Putin’s brilliant scheme to get a large chunk (Donetsk and Lugansk regions) of the Ukraine without firing one shot and astonishing the world, the NATO and the Biden administration, ended ugly. That approach was strategic and a brilliant one as well (initially). But it turned out to be the same old land grab … and his coming undoing. Like in part one of this article, Putin will lose. And with him, the Russian population.

What started as a grandiose, well-prepared counter offensive against the pushing NATO and the idiot American president, ended into a fascistic like invasion into a military weak country. Putin motioned that the invasion is not a real invasion, only to demilitarize the Ukraine.

If Putin had kept it what he had gained (before invading) and recalled his armies home, he would be seen as the greatest leaders throughout the world, reaping honor and business for Russia worldwide and would have hurt Biden and the NATO.

But he didn’t. In his speech, he told the country and the world to look at the awesome power of Russia. In reality, he showed the world that he’s a liar and a bully. With his supposing powers, he only chose to attack a military weak country. The only thing he has shown the world that he’s a weak bully, and nothing else.

Putin is a disappointment after all the fuzz he made.

He also claimed that with his current invasion, he wants to remove the Ukrainian’s Nazis. Great. But with his current invasion, he stirs some old memories … and that about the same Nazis.

He showed the world that he’s a liar, and a very bad one.

  • In 1936, Adolf Hitler went into the Rhineland and reclaimed it for Germany. And the world did nothing.
  • In 1938, Hitler marched into Austria, insisting that the people wanted Anschluss (union with Germany).  Demanding a vote, the Nazis fixed the election. And the world did nothing.
    • The fake result was that 99 percent of the Austrian people wanted to become part of Greater Germany.  Austrian prime minister Kurt Schuschnigg begged Britain, France, and Italy for aid to stop Hitler, but none came because all of them believed Hitler’s promise that Anschluss was the end of his expansion plans. And the world did nothing.
  • Trying desperately to avoid war, Britain’s Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain met with Hitler three times in September 1938.  The result was the Munich Agreement that had Chamberlain holding a useless piece of paper and infamously stating, “Peace for our time.” And the world did nothing.
  • In March 1939, Hitler invaded the rest of Czechoslovakia. And the world did nothing
  • The world waited, hoping Hitler would stop invading. And the world did nothing
  • Britain and France had a great idea. If they just “threatened” Hitler with war, the short guy with a funny mustache would surely stay out of Poland.
  • Hitler laughed all the way to the Reichstag and invaded Poland in September 1939. By then, there was nothing the world could do but belatedly go after Hitler. World War II was the result. It saw an estimated 80–85 million people perish, including eleven million whom the Nazis systematically murdered in camps.

Does this not sound familiar?

Putin might not see his actions as the actions of the Nazis, 70 years ago, but the actual facts demonstrate this accurately. He also showed the world that he’s a liar, just like Hitler was. And don’t forget, Germany was utterly defeated at the end, just like Russia will be defeated. Hitler killed himself, I wonder what Putin will do when his time comes.

On February 21, Putin gave a long-televised speech from his Moscow office, where he claimed that Ukraine is an integral part of Russia’s history. Will history repeat itself, with the Western world believing that all Putin wants are the Ukrainian Donetsk and Lugansk regions, when Putin is really focused on the entire country of Ukraine? What about the other nations that used to be part of the Soviet Union?

If Trump would still be in office as President, Putin would not even have looked at the Ukraine. Trump and Putin are alpha predators. Putin would know that he would pay dearly when he would try something like that with Trump. But with a demented Biden in office, the incompetent president has already proven to the world and his voters that he’s one for defeat and American disaster. “America Last!

No one should be surprised by Biden’s actions, since this is the same guy who abandoned Afghanistan in the summer of 2021 and left $85 billion in sophisticated military equipment for the Taliban. Thanks to Joey, the Taliban is now one of the most advanced military forces in the region.

As Biden’s grueling two-hour workdays keep him home practicing in front of a teleprompter for the March 1 State of the Union speech, he sent Vice President Kamala Harris to the Ukraine/Russian border. Having done such an outstanding job at the Mexico–United States border, it made complete sense to send Harris overseas for a Neville Chamberlain–like “peace for our time” visit.

“Those who do not remember the past are condemned to repeat it.” (George Santayana)

Sanctions after-the-fact, as the addled president is pushing, will not deter Putin.  He sees weakness and irresolution among western leaders, Biden first and foremost.  Chances are he’ll make the assumption that sanctions would be short-lived, anyway.  Always follow the money, which corrupt Western elites are hooked on worse than crack.

Biden and his handlers brazenly and stupidly threw away the U.S.’s greatest leverage in stopping Putin: American energy independence, our ability to furnish much of Western Europe’s energy needs (Germany’s in particular), and Biden’s reckless approval of Russia’s Nord Stream 2 pipeline, which solidifies Germany’s dependence on Russia.

We have the greatest collection of gross incompetents and most corrupted people in positions of power and authority in the world’s long history.

Putin sees this and act accordingly. But in the medium and long term he’ll lose, just like all the other despots in the world. The only little problem with that is the price the populations need to pay for that.
