Other factors are the lessons of the last two World Wars are in the process to be forgotten! People start to get immune by the constant repetitions, education is becoming bad and the new generations do not associate with the past and most of the old surviving soldiers died of old age. Human suffering is for the new generations something they can see on TV and internet. With the new weapons, they dream about using it and show their superiority over others. New military leaders are now scientific educated individuals, who see war as an exercise. They are extremely able professionals.

The major powers in the world owns an enormous battery of equipment, that can determine a license plate of any car in the world. They know exactly where each tank, each airplane and each ship is in China, Russia, all over the world … except in Iraq and Syria. The American government and intelligence agencies react confused, astonished and bewildered, in public, that they have no idea who is what and where in the ISIS controlled areas. The reasons why they can’t see in Syria and Iraq is because they don’t have any working intelligence assets on the ground. What is worrying though is, that the intelligence community has no alternatives and don’t know exactly what to do about it.

Hundreds of millions of Muslims all over the world are nominal Muslims. With other words, they take Islam not serious, they don’t intent to kill apostates. Certain things they might take serious, like it’s forbidden to eat pork, and many Muslims like to see their children marry Muslims if possible.

If you go to an encyclopedia and lookup Extremism, you can read it like the following:
“Extremism is an ideology (particularly in politics or religion), considered to be far outside the mainstream attitudes of a society or to violate common moral standards.” In the words of my twelve year old daughter, “everything what is too much or too less”.

At this moment, the conflict is being contained in a few countries, like Syria, Iraq, Lebanon and Libya.
In Lebanon there is still a government, but dominated by the Shi’ite flavored Syrian government, with Sunni and Shi’ite populations and Shi’ite extremist groups like Hezbollah, which is actively supported by Iran. Lebanon is looking wearily at the approaching ISIS and the incursions of Sunni insurgents in their territory. Iran and Saudi Arabia are providing military and financial support with the US in order to defends itself against the expected ISIS hordes.

It is extremely unlikely that the ISIS can be destroyed by only opposing it by air force only. It is unlikely that the ISIS will be contained by air force only. There is a stream of people, who want to join the ISIS, from all over the world. The ISIS, a Sunni Muslim group, has large support in Iraq. It’s governing a territory with the size like Great Britain, and administers about 8 million people, mainly Sunni Muslims.
In Iraq, ISIS means the answer of the Iraqi State support oppression from the Shi’ites. For the Muslim world, the Islamic State means the expansion of Islam and the successful Sunni Muslim battle against the Shi’ite Muslims, and the failing campaigns of the American led international coalition against ISIS.

Currently, many countries in the Middle East are in serious trouble, and the main reason is the decreasing price of the oil, the conflict between Sunni and Shi’ite Muslims and the existence of Daesh and the Islamic State, covering large parts of Iraq and Syria. The decreasing price of oil means for many, still stable Middle Eastern countries, economical problems.

The chaos of events in the Middle East does nothing to make people understand what actually is going on. Nobody makes even an attempt, and when they do, it’s quickly overshadowed by the noise of chaos an violence.

  10. UPDATE: Lies from Gaza

The war with Gaza is slowly, but surely getting out of control. If you are speaking about 2,000 people death, the extension will speak of several tens of thousands of death in the form of a war. The Israelis are being pushed too far and if the world and the Palestinians don’t look out, Hamas will be ended. The Israelis on the streets have enough of the lies and deceit of the Palestinians. They went too far this time. I think that Israel is now going to radicalize, the first time in its history and the results will not be pretty for the hate spewing Palestinians.
