If there are lessons to be learned about the second World War, the most important one is the passive behavior of many governments during the rise of fascism and communism. This allowed evil in the form of Nazis to explode straight throughout Europe, Asia and Africa. The costs of this passivity was unprecedented high; sixty million people died, Europe was in ruins and a new and greater evil rose in the form of another evil, Stalin. Now we’ve a new evil, Islamic extremism and they announced to have this all again, only worse. They like to see that you are between those masses of bodies.

This article describes the World War I, politics, League of Nations, United Nations and the continuation of wars and conflicts. Did the world learned its lesson from the WW1? Many tried with the creation of League of Nations and United Nations, but the conflicts and wars are growing. The UN as organization is an absolute failure. The world as we know is slowly sinking in a pool of violence, genocide, war and passivity.

The UN list of genocides (16 at this moment (August 2014)) with almost 30 million people killed is not complete. I need to note that the large (by numbers) genocides are performed by the Mongols (in the year 1200 and after) where 50-70 million people died and Stalin with hisgenocide, killing 43-60 million people!
